Rosewood Phuket is nestled along a 600-meter beachfront at exquisite Emerald Bay and is the first Asia resort for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Featuring 71 pavilions and villas, the resort offers a secluded island escape and celebration of the brand's A Sense of Place® philosophy, taking inspiration from the natural landscape, diverse cultures and unique sensibilities of this distinctive southern isle.
The hotel's environmentally sensitive, contemporary architecture style utilizes indigenous materials such as stone and timber throughout and features floor-to-ceiling windows in all private and public areas to offer a fully immersive experience of the hillside forest surroundings. The design incorporates sustainable practices, including rain water retention ponds to provide the entire resort water supply, the largest solar renewable energy system for any Phuket hotel and “landscaped” rooftops for energy conservation.
Landscaping is handled by Bangkok-based P-Landscape, with a clear focus on the preservation of the natural environment through the retention or careful transplantation of existing trees and indigenous foliage right through to the protection of sacred 150-year-old banyan trees situated in the resort grounds.
Ocean View Pool Pavilion
Each elegant, residential-style one-bedroom pavilion features a king-size bed, partitioned living room area, elegant bathroom with double vanities and an outside courtyard with deep soaking bathtub and rain shower. Soft neutral tones are utilized throughout, infused with natural light through retractable floor-to-ceiling windows. The sun terrace provides an immersive experience of the lush, tropical setting and has a daybed, sofa and infinity pool overlooking the Andaman Sea. Guests have an option of two twin beds, while connecting rooms are available to create a second bedroom. 1,399 square feet (130 square meters)

Weathered pavilions from repurposed materials create a rustic Thai village ambience and evening gathering place for dining by the ocean with friends and family. The gently curving 600-meter public beachfront at Emerald Bay is a haven for sun-lovers with soft white sand and warm shallow waters stretching out into the coral bay.
When the tide is high, it makes a friendly, swimmable seafront. It is home to a vast number of marine species such as starfish, small crabs, corals, shrimp, squid, and sea urchins.
Surrounded by the lush tropical landscaping of the resort, shady relief can be sought beneath the casuarina and palm trees that line the shoreline. North-facing with a small jungle outcrop at the eastern tip, the Phuket beach has a secluded hideaway ambiance.
