There is a natural pond free of chlorine and other chemicals. The water is not as clear as a chlorine pool and may be it has to be shared with friendly insects and plants in the pond.
The Treehouse has no air-conditioners in the public areas but instead relys on the natural river breeze. All the nests do have small but efficient air-conditioners for the guests to sleep in comfort while having minimal impact on the environment.
There are no roads for cars leading to the Bangkok Tree House, the only way to access this secluded location is by foot, bike or boat.

Water Management

Architecture
Discarded juice cartons were used to insulate our walls, used plastic drums were used to build our pier and reclaimed wood was used to build our walkways. Upcycling is the new recycling!No need for air conditioning in public areas, architecture allows for maximum ventilation and wind flow. Sleeping area is separated from other areas so that we can minimize use of air-conditioning.Bamboo structure: Bamboo is sustainable as well as beautiful, that is why you see a lot of bamboo in the Bangkok Tree House's wall, floors and even ceiling. Maximum outdoor space, every room has an open roof top deck and semi-outdoor shower.
